Scotland's Independence
Looks like Texas isn't the only one that's trying to demonstrate its independence. In recent news , Scotland voters went to the polls today, and will be deciding on whether or not to become an independent country ending its long lasting union with the United Kingdom. The outcome of voters is expected to be pretty high, with a massive amount of voters rushing the polls as soon as they opened. What outcomes may this bring in the near future? If Scotland does successfully secede, what will happen to the United Kingdom, and will this secession cause tension between the two? I believe so, many British officials are saying that an independent Scotland would no longer be able to use the pound as a source of currency, many of Scotland's major banks are also discussing moving to London's if the secession is successful.
