What is going ?

As I grow older I loose my willingness and motivation to push on in my life. As a child I looked kept looking forward in search of a better, but as of recently many things have changed it seems our Nation is beginning to give way to the weight of its own desires and greed. When I look at our nations flag, I am no longer overwhelmed with a sense of righteousness, a belief of equality and feelings of being safe. I no longer see the vision of land of freedom and justice our Founding Fathers envisioned.

Over the recent years our nation seems to be getting worse and worse with police brutality rising, young men and women dying left and right, countries becoming war zones, and voters unwittingly voting republican.

"Washington, June 27 - The Supreme Court ruled on Monday that the police did not have a constitutional duty to protect a person from harm, even a woman who had obtained a court-issued protective order against a violent husband making an arrest mandatory for a violation." If the police are not meant to protect us, who do we look for when the sunsets or when no one is looking? Even though laws are meant to protect and provide guidelines for the men, women, and children of this great nation how can we truly expect to feel fully safe when those we thought were meant to protect us only protect the guidelines by which they also enforce?

Now I bet your wondering where am I going with is?

This was just one example of why I see our nation as growing worse. What I am basically getting at is as an individual as a citizen I do not feel safe in a country where those sworen "up hold my community" that the officers are sworn to protect the law not the citizens but from last I saw reading the constitution and the bill of rights during Government is that there are a lot of misunderstandings when it comes to the interpretations of the various laws and rights set by the government.

Another explain was a video requested by the Mr. Seago to watch John Olivers Video on Drones you didn't get the chance to see it here it is. But during this video John Oliver discusses some of the freighting comments made during some these officials speeches.

I have to disagree.....

In Tijuana Whitlocks "Weak President Strong Government: What Would the Founding Father's Think?" How can an individual only blame one branch of government as the poster child of weakness in the government I do not understand that. "Our nation during the last few years under the Obama Administration has gone through a dramatic change.  Not a change for the better, quite the opposite a change for the worst.  This administration has become more like a dictatorship than a presidency." As we have learned in most government classes and history classes, since the Founding of our nation we have implemented 2 systems the first, being separation of powers and the second, being the system of checks and balances allowing each branch of government to maintain an equal amount of power over each other.

First, Obama has sponsored over 137 different bills throughout his years of presidency, some which include the Military Family Job Protection Act, Homes for Heroes Act of 2007, and the Global Poverty Act of 2007.  Homes for Heroes Act of 2007, "Amends the Department of Housing and Urban Development Act to establish in the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) a Special Assistant for Veterans Affairs to: (1) ensure veteran access to HUD housing and homeless assistance programs; (2) coordinate all HUD programs and activities relating to veterans; and (3) serve as a HUD liaison with the Department of Veterans Affairs." Assuring better homes for low income and homeless veterans.

Secondly, you discuss how bad the government has become since Obamas administration has been in office, but that is a very bold statement especially with  republican party ruling a majority of  Congress with 242 republicans to 193 Democrats(today). Also, as we all know with Obama being a democrat the republicans are not going to be very ecstatic about any new bills sponsor or proposed by President Obama. Another thing I disagreed with was your statement, "Our nation's security is in question." My question to you is when has it ever not been in question?

In conclusion I believe you did good job stating your opinion and relating why you feel that way towards your beliefs but I wasn't very convinced because you only stated the topics and didn't really give facts behind them.
