As I grow older I loose my willingness and motivation to push on in my life. As a child I looked kept looking forward in search of a better, but as of recently many things have changed it seems our Nation is beginning to give way to the weight of its own desires and greed. When I look at our nations flag, I am no longer overwhelmed with a sense of righteousness, a belief of equality and feelings of being safe. I no longer see the vision of land of freedom and justice our Founding Fathers envisioned.
Over the recent years our nation seems to be getting worse and worse with police brutality rising, young men and women dying left and right, countries becoming war zones, and voters unwittingly voting republican.
"Washington, June 27 - The Supreme Court ruled on Monday that the police did not have a constitutional duty to protect a person from harm, even a woman who had obtained a court-issued protective order against a violent husband making an arrest mandatory for a violation." If the police are not meant to protect us, who do we look for when the sunsets or when no one is looking? Even though laws are meant to protect and provide guidelines for the men, women, and children of this great nation how can we truly expect to feel fully safe when those we thought were meant to protect us only protect the guidelines by which they also enforce?
Now I bet your wondering where am I going with is?
This was just one example of why I see our nation as growing worse. What I am basically getting at is as an individual as a citizen I do not feel safe in a country where those sworen "up hold my community" that the officers are sworn to protect the law not the citizens but from last I saw reading the constitution and the bill of rights during Government is that there are a lot of misunderstandings when it comes to the interpretations of the various laws and rights set by the government.
Another explain was a video requested by the Mr. Seago to watch John Olivers Video on Drones you didn't get the chance to see it here it is. But during this video John Oliver discusses some of the freighting comments made during some these officials speeches.
